Happy Testimonials From

"Inez
grew up on a working guest ranch in Colorado. Animal and people-reading
skills were part of her daily life, turning into an inspired gift that the
rest of us envy! But, to Inez, that gift is simply part of how she moves
through the world. She has an artistic, classy energy about her, and knows
how to love people in a way that doesn't take away from another. (Imagine
that!) Inez is an original, and true to herself. She loves dogs and knows
them in a way that isn't cerebral, but intuitive, respecting each for their
own individual personalities, not grouping them all into a definition learned
from a book. Her skills are the real deal, born from the ranch and eleven
years of owning her business. I tell her, -- hell, look at Bill Gates! He
made his life out of pure intuition, talent and hard work, and following
what he loved because that's where he was most brilliant. That's her
too! Inez is the leader of the pack here in Bend. No one else comes close
when it comes to the best loving care for my dog, or yours! In my next life
I'm coming back as
a Strutt Your Mutt dog – absolutely!"

"Good people to care for your dogs can sometimes be hard to find but we
struck gold when Strutt Your Mutt popped up on our computer screen
as we did a search in Bend. We had had some pretty bad experiences with some
of the kennels and pet care providers in town and just needed to find something
that was more personalized for an overly active dog and more of an
intimate setting for our elder dog. We did take Inez up on her offer to chat
with a few of her "doggie families," as she likes to refer to
her clients. This was a necessity for us with all that we had been through.
I would strongly suggest that you do this when you are looking for the BEST!
There was no doubt after meeting in person with three families that
we could head off on a trip and have the peace of mind that our dogs would
have the care that we insisted they get. Lucy, our old dog, has left us now
but Rebel continues to run out on the trail like a crazy dog and have sleepovers.
He did have an accident out in the woods with Inez where he sliced open a
spot flying over a dead tree. We understand that this comes with the territory
of running free in the wild. What we found very impressive was the
wonderful first aid action that was taken on Inez's part to get the
wound cleaned, bandaged, and get our family and the vet contacted in such
a timely manner. She always seems so calm and level headed. I think our dog
probably would have rather had her stay with him at the hospital then his
sometimes very nervous high strung dad! We can't say enough outstanding
things about Strutt Your Mutt. We plan our trips around Inez's schedule
because there is no other that can compare!!!"

"Inez is a beautiful spirit who has been given a gift with animals. She
conducts herself and her business with grace and professionalism. She
is a tiny thing physically, but is as strong as nails. Last year around
Christmas she broke her finger on her left hand (due to a dog!) and continued
to Strutt those Mutts! She has a very intuitive way about her and handles
my very large guy Tomas with sweetness but also is solid in her management
as the alpha, which he greatly needs and respects. Inez is a true horse
and dog person, I value her immensely... she is my kind of girl!"

"Inez or AKA "Trail Guide Goddess." I refer to her with
this title because the first time I met her she was moving through
the trees with her long hair flowing with dogs all around her, it seemed
like 20 or so at the time! Anyway, she just had such ease as she moved
by my dog and me. She did not say much at the time except, "Good morning," with
a smile – and - "excuse the herd!" Then she moved at a slow
jog up the trail with wagging tails of all colors in tow. Herby, "my
mutt" thinks she's the bomb and I can't thank her enough
for accommodating my needs at the drop of a hat as I commute between
Bend and Seattle. She is a gem and I love how much passion comes through
in what she does!"

"My partner and I were in the process of moving to Bend from the Bay area
and had come up to Bend for a long weekend in the summer to get our
living situation secured. It had been a hectic morning with the Realtors
and we just needed a break. So we headed down to the river for a picnic.
As we pulled into the parking lot we observed the "Strutt Your Mutt" mobile
and thought it was a very entertaining name and fantastic business!
We did not have dogs at the time but were intrigued at who might be connected
to that car. We sat in the beautiful summer shade enjoying our food, watching
folks, and trying to figure out who belonged to the SYM truck. We soon
zoned in on a gal with long brown hair sitting with a medium sized brown
dog and younger girl at the edge of the riverbank. For a long time they threw
a stick in the water for the dog and then the gal helped the little girl
have the dog sit and give him a treat. They worked at this for a bit and
then took hands and headed to the Strutt Your Mutt mobile. We now live in
Bend and found out that Inez mentors young girls who have incarcerated parents
though a volunteer program called COPY. Inez was helping the little girl
learn some basic skills so she could mange her own dog. We thought that was
pretty cool! We now have two dogs that we adopted through the Redmond Humane
Society. The day we brought our two new family members home we called Inez!!!
Oh, and the medium brown dog was Zephyr, Inez's right hand guy and
one of our dogs' best friends."

"Inez has the experience that allows her to know the do's and
don't of this business. She operates her groups of dogs with the utmost
love and confidence. It's always very clear who is running the show
and dogs need the top dog to feel free to socialize and be adventuresome."

"Some people have a God given talent, it is apparent that Inez is one of
these folks. You can go to school and educate yourself to the end of
time but Inez has a natural connection with animals that is intuitive
and magical, it's something that you just cannot obtain through books."

"All I can say is Strutt Your Mutt is a class act! Just check out the website,
top notch! Inez has it going on! From the way she interacts with us
dog people (outstanding people skills), to her trail guide operation
(well managed groups of dogs), to her alternative boarding service (it's
family style loving for your dog while you are away) – it just does
not get any better! There will always be other services offering similar
care, but if you want the best, no need to look any further!"

"I rescue older dogs and therefore have to say goodbye often as they move
on to the spirit world. Although this pulls heavy on my heartstrings,
I find great joy in the ability to give these dogs a gift of living
out their remaining years here on Earth with dignity, love and the
best care for their old bodies! Inez is part of this equation. She is the
only one I trust who would do exactly what I would do in any situation and
even go beyond that! I can't even
begin to tell you how overjoyed I was when Strutt Your Mutt came to
town. I have lived in Bend for ages and have used different pet care
services through the years, but never felt as content and relaxed when
I went away on trips as I do with Inez. The Strutt Your Mutt abode is Inez's
home where she lives with her very cool family, all very good looking
I might add. The minute you walk into the house you feel welcomed and there
is a wonderful creative warm flow of style and love that surrounds
you. Her house has great artistic flair and is set up to be very accommodating
for the dogs, simple and organized with very few stairs, old dogs appreciate
this! The best part is it is clean, clean, clean! This is very important
to me because my dogs are older (but any age can get sick) and they
are sometimes more susceptible to disease and I do not know why but I found
that a lot of the private (home) dog care services were not very clean?!?!?
Inez is on top of clean standards. Bowls are washed, bedding is kept clean,
food/meds/supplements are put in personalized bins and the space over all
is very tidy. I know my dogs are in a healthy, well grounded, and loving
environment. I also know that Inez will give my dogs 110% of whatever they
need. This means driving one my dogs to the emergency vet middle of the night!
Lola is just fine and happy as can be these days. We love Strutt Your Mutt
to bits!!!"

"Our
dogs Gracie and Tucker love joining their friends for hikes with Inez
every week. The exercise helps our 14 year old retriever mix maintain
her health and vitality and our 4 year old Lab burn up some of his boundless
energy. Inez is extremely conscientious about the well-being of all the
dogs in her care, so we never worry about Gracie and Tucker being safe
when they're with her. Inez and Strutt Your Mutt are awesome!!!"

"My family and I were challenged. With a busy job and school schedules,
we were faced with the possibility of letting our lab puppy languish
at home. Hours without real exercise and the possibility of creating "real" mischief
did not appeal to any of us. Our problem was solved by discovering Inez
Hagen. She first arrived at our home to interview us and our dog. She
reassured us that our dog would be with other appropriately socialized
dogs. She made us feel as though our dog "Winston" mattered
to her. Winston loves to go with her - his eagerness is apparent as he
joyfully jumps into her truck for a day of exercise. Inez is absolutely
reliable and committed to her dogs. She has cared for Winston overnight
and provided more long term care. Winston has always arrived home in
wonderful condition - a happy tired dog. I believe Inez provides truly
remarkable care to my dog and would recommend them to anyone for their
dog care without reservation."

"Nothing
makes my dogs happier than spending time with Inez. And nothing makes
me happier than seeing how joyful they are when Inez drops them off --
especially Gracie. For 30 years, I've adopted special needs dogs, but
Gracie was clearly out of my league. Her terrible anxiety, inability
to trust people and unpredictability pushed me to the point where I was
about to return her to the pound. And then we found Inez. The transformation
that has occurred since Gracie began spending three days a week with
Inez has been remarkable. Inez isn't just a dog walker, pack leader,
or trail guide. She's also a healer of the spirit -- and what a beautiful
gift that is for all of us."

"I was lucky enough to find Inez right after I adopted Riley two years
ago. While he is a perfect dog in every way, he is a tad neurotic, and
not fond of regular kennels. He has stayed with her on Holidays and goes
on a group hike every week with his dog buddies. I have 100 % confidence
in Inez and know that when she's watching Riley, she treats him as one
of her own. I trust that she would do exactly what I would do in any
situation. Inez is truly a dog person, who loves them as much as they
love her. She also understands what they need, and has enchanted them
so they all get along. Inez is very responsible and thoughtful, and even
wipes off his muddy paws.
The best part of having him go on his weekly hike is that a tired dog
is a good dog!"

"Yellow
Lab Rosie, and Black Lab Casey have an acute sense of time. Odd, since
neither wear a watch. Although at 5:55am and 4:45pm they both begin the
ritual of reminding me that mealtime is quickly approaching and I'd better
be seriously considering pouring those kibbles. Neither, mind you, have
missed a meal in their 12 and 7 years of ruling our roost. Several months
ago they added a few more time zones to their internal clock systems.
They seemed to know within a few minutes when the Strutt Your Mutt Mobile
would arrive to pick up the next door neighbor dogs, Tucker and Gracie.
They watched with great interest as Inez would go into the house, retrieve
the dogs, invite them to jump into her SUV, then watch as the car would
roll away with Tucker and Gracie inside. Upon their return, the same
routine - Casey and Rosie watched intently. After a few weeks of this
the quiet watching turned into whining and gazing out the window with
that "longing" look in their eyes. I'm
sure they had no idea where the neighbors were going, but they surely
would like to be going to!
Needless to say, this Mom is unable to deny her Labs anything. Even
though I try to get them out to off leash hike on trails a couple of
days a week, I asked if Inez would be kind enough to allow my two to
join her Wednesday group. They have been going for three weeks now and
I must report that they are happier than ever and have found that the
destinations visited are even better than they imagined when they watched
Tucker and Gracie go. We are all very happy and fully appreciate the
TLC given to all the dogs by Inez! She is the best! Many thanks!"
